Czechia is a generally conservative country located in the European Union.
Why Czechia?
Gaining residency or citizenship in the Czech Republic can be a pathway to residence in the wider European Eunion.
Why not Czechia?
Generally Czechia doesn't have the most progressive laws. Same-sex marriage is not recognized, but civil unions had been recognized for a long time. It's not progressing further tho.
Only recently the supreme court cancelled a requirement to be castrated to have your sex legally changed.

- English is spoken in touristy areas.
- Learning Czech is beneficial for daily life. Without a certain degree of fluency in Czech, bureaucracy is often very hard or even impossible to navigate. You may have to ask Czech speakers you trust for help.
