Canada
Warning: Refugee claims made by those seeking entry to Canada from the US are governed by the "Canada-US Safe Third Country Agreement". This agreement requires that those seeking refugee status in Canada make a claim in the USA first. This means by default Canada will return asylum claimants to the United States if they come to Canada from the US. However, this agreement does not apply to US citizens, or stateless persons who are residents of the US. There are also several exceptions available which you can read about at https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/mandate/policies-operational-instructions-agreements/agreements/safe-third-country-agreement.html.
