This is an information resource mainly written for trans US citizens considering emigrating to another country, although we hope it is useful beyond that.

Please treat this wiki as a starting point for your own research, not as an authoritative source of truth or as legal advice.

Many of the authors have gone through the process themselves and want to share what they have learned.

Template:Arrival

From Trans World Express

This is a template to help you create a country-specific sub-page with information about how to arrive in the country, get a phone number, find housing etc.

This template will generate the most relevant headings/sections you might want to use in this type of page

To use this template, create a new page in the Edit source mode, add {{subst:Arrival}} as the only text and save it. This will give you all the content that's shown in this template, which you can then edit as a new page.

This template is also only meant to be a starting-point for new pages, to avoid the "blank page" problem. You don't have to add all sections & can add sections that would be relevant but are missing from the template. If you need to add, sections. If you add sections please let the Submission & Review team know, so the template can be reviewed and updated, if needed.

Everything written in bold is considered an important part and we suggest it needs to be filled in, if the section is applicable to you.

This page will give you some tips and suggestions for how to arrive in COUNTRY
